Beginning
How could Norma Brandsberg forget the first time she rolled into
Lynchburg, VA with her husband -

young
and apprehensive about the new town with only school depts,
job losses and little else.

Don't String Me Along
It will just be six months, Tim said,
until I can find a job I really want! So started her decades old saga
of raising a family and working in Lynchburg - the "Grand Performance"
she has deemed her life to be.

The Grand Performance
And what an adventure it has been.
Two children,
Jennifer, Erik, two dogs, Elvis and Charlee-Humane Society and Rescue
dogs, travels around the world, school involvement and politics. But
most dear to her heart has been playing violin and being a
founding member of the Lynchburg Symphony Orchestra.

Out of Tune
Norma's move to this area was an
accident, but as
she explains, "We were smart enough to make the choice to stay. How
could we fail to love Lynchburg and the surrounding area, the gorgeous
Blue Ridge Mountains, the family orientated life style and the nicest,
people we've met in our travels." Lynchburg has great educational
choices - five colleges, low crime rates, multiple arts venues - a
symphony; sporting possibilities - hiking, fishing, college and minor
league sports; low taxes, low utility rates, reasonable Real Estate
prices and good medical care. In fact Lynchburg rates highly in many
national publications because of ALL its many attributes.
